Beyonce' is Reportedly In Talks For Black Panther 2

It only makes sense that the world's most famous black female pop culture icon would be involved in Black Panther 2.

*Rumored*

Beyonce' is a QUEEN. And in the midst of Black Lives Matter we all need her right now. According to Elle Magazine, Beyonce' is in talks with Disney to join Black Panther 2. It is rumored that the superstar and WOC role model is negotiating a 100,000,000 (yes, that's in millions) to work on three Disney projects, including Marvel's Black Panther sequel. This might mean she will score the soundtrack or possibly even be in the film (we can only dream).

Black Panther crushed box office records and introduced us to the secret high-tech World of Wakanda, while bringing black comic book characters to life for the first time - the film's success is a huge moment in blerd (black nerd) culture. We met new heroines like Shuri (Letitia Wright), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and Nakia (Lupita Nyong'o) along with the Dora Milaje, the all-female warriors in charge of protecting the nation.

The source for Elle, said Beyonce isa major player” for Disney and that company is working to get her to voice some of the new documentaries coming out on Disney+. “The negotiations are still ongoing but it’s the final details that are being thrashed out now."

Beyonce' has yet to confirm or deny her involvement. Nor has Disney confirmed that these "rumors" are true.

However, she has worked with Disney in the past, most notably in the live-action adaptation of The Lion King as the voice of Nala. So it's not that much of a stretch that Disney would want her for other projects as well.

We will keep you updated on this Black Panther news as we learn more. For now all we can do is hope that this is true!

Black Panther 2 is set to release in 2022.
