A new trailer for the upcoming dystopian thriller Chaos Walking has arrived. Check out the full preview below.
In the not too distant future, Todd Hewitt (Tom Holland) discovers Viola (Daisy Ridley), a mysterious girl who crash lands on his planet, where all the women have disappeared and the men are afflicted by “the Noise” – a force that puts all their thoughts on display. In this dangerous landscape, Viola’s life is threatened – and as Todd vows to protect her, he will have to discover his own inner power and unlock the planet’s dark secrets.

The feature film is based on the best-selling novel The Knife of Never Letting Go, part of a sci-fi trilogy by author Patrick Ness. Ness also penned the screenplay for Chaos Walking along with Christopher Ford. Originally slated for a 2019 release, shooting started back in 2017 but re-shoots and other production snags have delayed the film. It is now set for release on January 22, 2021 via Lionsgate.
The cast of Chaos Walking also features Mads Mikkelsen, Demián Bichir, Cynthia Erivo, Nick Jonas, Kurt Sutter, and David Oyelowo.
