Are you asking the same thing as us? "Is Miguel Gonna Die?" "Are Johnny and Daniel Frenemies?" "Can Someone Just Murder Demitri already?"

If you're like me, you're still reeling from the absolute Phoenix-like rise of Cobra Kai after season 1 and 2 were released on Netflix a couple weeks ago. You dove in because you were curious, it caught you from the opening scene, and you realized..."Oh, this is gonna be good."

After the binge, here we are...impatiently waiting for Season 3. Luckily, it is confirmed that Season 3 is already completed and ready to go, thanks to Netflix for saving the show. The masses of people who have become a huge fans of Cobra Kai and the original Karate Kid in the past month or so want it NOW.

UPDATE 1:

Writer-Producer Jon Hurwitz Tweeted:

Can I get a #HashbrownTeamCobraKai? UPDATE 2: Furthermore, Season 3 of Cobra Kai will take place in Okinawa, Japan, mimicking the setting of Karate Kid II, which "took place" there, however it was filmed in Oahu, Hawaii. (trivia points!)

This was confirmed by Cobra Kai star Ralph Macchio who plays Daniel LaRusso on Conan O' Brien just yesterday, September 15th. "It dives into the origins of Myiagi-Do Karate"

UPDATE 3:

In a recent interview with Collider, William Zabka (Johnny Lawrence) states that the new season will take place "a little bit later in time than season 2", stating we won't pick up right away after Johnny ruined his phone on the beach. Watch the video below in its entirety if you have 20min. It’s truly fun and lets you see Zabka's real personality, because man he is OH SO GOOD as Johnny Lawrence it’s hard to see him as anything but his character.

So, as things are in 2020, we're waiting until 2021 for almost everything. This is totally worth it though.

Share your love for Cobra Kai in the comments, we’d love to hear what your favorite scenes are!
