Demon Slayer Movie US Announcement!

Demon Slayer hasn’t been around for that long, running from only February of 2016 to May of 2020, but could you imagine your 4 year old child getting it’s own anime, winning anime of the year for a 26 episode 1st season and then announcing a feature length film!? Well that happened right at the end of the last episode and now, thanks to Funimation and ComicBook.com we’re getting some of the best news.

Demon Slayer: The Mugen Train, is going to be released in North America!! Following the end of the season and trailer announcement, we witnessed a flood of fans screaming out about their desire to see the film and specifically calling for a North American release and now we’re getting that wish granted. Though there is no date set yet, with this announcement we at least know we’ll be getting the chance to see it here in the states.

The mugen train arc follows our three main demon slayers, Tanjiro, Inosuke and Zenitsu along with Tanjiro’s demon sister Nezuko, joining the Flame Hashira Rengoku in search of the strongest lower moon demons, Enmu. Having read the story already, we know it will make for an incredibly touching as well as action packed film and we just can’t wait to see it animated!

What did you think of Demon Slayer's first season and are you looking forward to the film? Or are there any other anime films you wish would be released in the states? Let us know in the comments below.
