NBC, Dwayne Johnson Reveal Trailer For New Sitcom 'Young Rock'

Johnson is set to appear in every episode.

NBC and actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson have revealed the first trailer for the new sitcom Young Rock. The series premieres on February 16 at will air on Tuesdays at 8/7c. Check out the sneak peak below.


Johnson stars in a larger-than-life family comedy based on outrageous stories of his youth. This coming-of-age journey highlights the unforgettable moments and incredible relationships that took Dwayne from ordinary kid to extraordinary superstar – revealing he’s more like us than we know.


Johnson will appear in each episode, and his formative years will be the series' focus and inspiration. Highlights include Johnson's time growing up idolizing his father's wrestling career, his days discovering football at Freedom High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and dominating in the sport at the University of Miami.

Co-created by Nahnatchka Khan and Dwayne Johnson, the series will be executive produced by Khan, Johnson, Jeff Chiang, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, Brian Gewirtz and Jennifer Carreras. The show will be produced by Universal Television, Seven Bucks Productions and Fierce Baby Productions. Khan and Chiang co-wrote the pilot.
