BREAKING: Samuel L. Jackson Will Return As Nick Fury In New Marvel Series On Disney+
The Oscar nominee will reprise his iconic role on the small screen.

Samuel L. Jackson is set to reprise his role as Nick Fury in a brand new Marvel series coming to Disney+. After appearing as Fury in 11 feature films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Academy Award nominee Jackson is bringing the character to the small screen. The new show is currently in development, according to Variety.
Jackson previously appeared as Fury on television in two episodes Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC.
Exact details of the show's storyline and where it fits in the MCU timeline are unclear at this time, but it will be produced by Marvel Studios for Disney+. Writer and producer Kyle Bradstreet is reportedly attached to the project, with Jackson set to star.
As previously mentioned, Jackson has portrayed Fury - the head of S.H.I.E.L.D. - in 11 Marvel films, beginning with an appearance in the end credits of 2008's Iron Man. Most recently, Jackson played Fury in Marvel's Captain Marvel (2019), the record-breaking blockbuster Avengers: Endgame (2019), and an end credits scene in Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019).
Marvel Studios is red hot as of late. The first trailer for Helstrom dropped yesterday. The show arrives on Hulu in October. The upcoming She-Hulk series recently landed director and executive producer Kat Coiro, and reportedly signed Tatiana Maslany (Heartland, Orphan Black, HBO's Perry Mason) to play the title role.
The studio has WandaVision, Loki, and The Falcon and Winter Soldier in the works as well. All the shows are currently in production and are set to arrive in 2021. Fans are also hoping that solid viewership of Helstrom could re-ignite the development of the previously announced Ghost Rider series.
