Star Wars: Squadrons Trailer Is Here! Plus: Price, Info and Many Updates

Back in the 90's, Electronic Arts was the go to company for sports and their iconic "E A Sports it's in the game" is burned into our brains from years of loading up those games. But now EA is more synonymous with Star Wars due to their work with the franchise over the past decade and the impact those games have had on the community.
The newest game Star Wars: Squadrons, is now available for pre-order on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Steam for only $40 with a release date of October 2nd. There are also a handful of Pre-order bonuses available, including: rebel and imperial flight suits, new skins for rebel and imperial starfighters, and rebel and imperial decals. EA is planning on running a gameplay reveal live stream on June 18th at 7pm est (4pm pdt). Until then you can check out the trailer below.
IGN provided a little more info into the story and gameplay saying:
"Squadrons will feature a single player story mode set after the Battle of Endor and the destruction of the Death Star II. Alternating between two customizable pilots, the story will feature brand new characters, and cameos from familiar faces. The two pilots you play as will show you both sides of the game's conflict – one flies for the New Republic's Vanguard Squadron, and the other for the shattered Galactic Empire's Titan Squadron."
Back in 2014 a similar title was in production as a freemium multiplayer game, under the name Attack Squadrons. Unfortunately things didn't work out and the game was canned, but with this announcement it seems it's been reborn under a new title and different pricing model. Just for comparison here's that games trailer.
